Avionics System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics System Architect to join our team at Ascendance Ft. As a key member of our avionics system team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the system architecture, working closely with the Flight Control and Hybrid Propulsion systems teams.
Key Responsibilities- System Architecture Development: Develop and maintain the avionics system architecture, ensuring it meets the required safety and reliability standards.
- System Design and Integration: Participate in the design and integration of the avionics system, ensuring seamless interaction with other systems.
- Safety and Reliability Analyses: Conduct safety and reliability analyses, including SysFHA, PSSA, and SSA, to ensure the system meets the required standards.
- Airworthiness Activities: Lead airworthiness activities, including the development of the System Description Document (SDD), System Interface Document (SID), and Interface Control Document (ICD).
- System Integration and Interoperability: Work with the team to ensure the full integration and interoperability of avionics system functions, including displays, flight warning systems, data com, control panels, air data, and inertial sensors.
- Verification and Validation: Support the team in verification and validation activities, including lab and flight test preparation and technical event investigation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related fields in aerospace systems.
- Skills: Practical hands-on experience in design, integration, and test; experience with HMI and communication; good knowledge and experience with DO-178C, DO-254, and D-O160 standards.
- Preferred Qualifications: Flight testing experience; experience with CS-23 and CS-27 certification requirements.
