Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Network Architect to join our dynamic Avionics Products Development team in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a close-knit team of approximately 15 engineers within the Avionics & Simulation Domain. This domain serves as both a crucial development hub and a vital resource for Airbus's global operations.
Your Mission:As an Avionics Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge communication systems for our next generation of aircraft. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of these critical networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of robust and scalable avionics network architectures, incorporating both legacy and emerging technologies such as AFDX.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, software developers, and certification specialists to ensure seamless integration and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ARP4754, ARP5761, DO178, DO254).
- Conduct in-depth analysis of system requirements, identify potential risks and challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Utilize modeling and simulation tools to evaluate network performance and optimize system design.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders at all levels.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual with a strong foundation in avionics systems and networking technologies.
- Proven experience with legacy communication buses (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553).
- In-depth knowledge of Ethernet technology, ideally with expertise in AFDX.
- Solid understanding of aeronautical engineering principles and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English is essential.
