As an Enterprise Support Specialist at Amazon Web Services, you will play a crucial role within the Enterprise Support team, driving the success of enterprise support clients in developing applications and services on the AWS platform.
Your approach will be customer-centric, focusing on defining a support strategy that aligns with client needs, offering expert guidance on AWS services to address inquiries, project planning, and ongoing operational challenges. You will engage directly with accounts, providing proactive recommendations and insights throughout the entire cloud adoption journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesEach day will present new and engaging challenges as you:
- Serve as the primary contact for Enterprise Accounts.
- Comprehend your clients' objectives and business aspirations.
- Recommend AWS service enhancements that align with your clients' strategies and architectures.
- Analyze and present regular reviews of operational performance to clients.
- Deliver detailed assessments of service interruptions, metrics, and pre-launch preparations.
- Advocate for client needs within AWS, including feature requests.
- Participate in client-requested meetings, whether onsite or via phone.
- Utilize essential customer resolution tools across all service groups to ensure swift resolution of client issues.
- Share knowledge and innovate alongside some of the leading technologists globally.
- Collaborate directly with AWS engineers to ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
- Plan and execute critical business events, including product launches, migrations, and modernizations for your clients on AWS.

- Experience in at least two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.
- Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate and present to both small and large audiences.
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles such as a Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer, or other related technical positions.
- Background in Computer Science or Mathematics.
- Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Solid understanding of technology budget management.
