About Envie Network
Since 1984, Envie Network has been a leader in promoting social inclusion through initiatives such as the reuse, repair, and sale of household appliances, as well as the management of electrical and electronic waste.
Believing in the potential to prevent waste or convert it into a resource, Envie actively engages in its 52 social enterprises across France, employing around 2,800 individuals in training programs and 900 permanent staff.
The Envie Federation, which serves as the central office for social enterprises, is seeking a manager for partnerships and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development and Direct Marketing (70%)
- Creating Partnership Proposals: Develop partnership offerings that align with the funding requirements of strategic initiatives and innovations championed by the Envie Federation, collaborating with internal project leaders to establish budget parameters for each initiative.
- Proactive Outreach: Identify and engage potential public and private financial partners in collaboration with the Director of New Projects, organize meetings, formulate compelling arguments, respond to project calls, create project budgets, negotiate partnership terms, draft agreements as necessary, and explore funding opportunities through diligent networking with key stakeholders.
- Partnership Management: Oversee a portfolio of public financial partners (local authorities and European funds) and private entities, manage financial and administrative responsibilities, ensure adherence to commitments, promote partnerships, assist in report writing, renew agreements, and coordinate actions related to the Envie Endowment Fund.
Innovation Initiatives (30%)
Lead or contribute to the coordination of studies, prototyping, experimental projects, and change management initiatives focusing on the repair of electrical and electronic equipment, preventive maintenance, functional economy, collaboration, and enhancing the environmental performance of the Envie Federation and its network.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree, preferably in Political Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. A minimum of two years' experience in securing and managing funding, particularly from European sources, is essential. Familiarity with public policies, institutional relations, and business operations is required. A strong interest in the Circular Economy and alignment with Envie's values as a pioneer in the Social and Solidarity Economy sector are vital. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, resilience, and persuasive abilities, along with strong organizational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication capabilities, budgeting expertise, and proficiency in software tools (Excel, Word, possibly CRM) and professional English.
