Your Role

The HR Business Partner for Global Functions (m/f/d) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global HR Business Partner for Scent & Care in executing the HR strategy for the segment. This position serves as the primary liaison for the executive leadership of designated business functions operating on a global scale within the segment and/or division. Responsibilities encompass dedicated support for core HR processes and strategic business collaboration to enhance the new HR target operating model. You will work alongside other HR functions to facilitate the execution of organizational development initiatives, assist in globally led M&A integrations, and collaborate closely with the Centers of Excellence to ensure the successful delivery of global programs and initiatives at both segment and divisional levels.

Strategy & Partnering

  • Collaborate with global leaders of assigned functions to comprehend strategic goals and objectives, ensuring the implementation of harmonized HR processes across regions and business units.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of a global HR strategy within the assigned Global Functions, in close partnership with the Global HR Business Partner, overseeing core strategic HR areas such as workforce planning, HR analytics, organizational design, and M&A activities.
  • Provide guidance and insights to business and HR leadership on organizational design initiatives, CAPEX projects, and M&A-related activities at a global level.
  • Promote the sharing of best practices across divisional HR, fostering capability building and harmonization on HR-related topics.

Planning & Analytics

  • Lead and manage strategic workforce planning at the global level, adhering to global guidelines and contributing to an integrated approach that ensures transparency and efficiency in delivering the right talent with the appropriate skills at the right time and place.
  • Ensure the accuracy of core HR data and headcount reporting at the global level in collaboration with the CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics and HR Operations.
  • Develop HR analytics for global functions in partnership with CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics to generate business insights and facilitate actionable decision-making.
  • Communicate and facilitate the dissemination of strategic HR decisions and information, such as structural changes, from the global to the regional level to ensure effective implementation.

Talent Management

  • Collaborate with CoE Talent Management and the HR Business Partner community to enhance and implement Talent Management practices or programs in areas such as Performance Management, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Diversity & Inclusion, and Change Management.

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with CoE Talent Acquisition on workforce planning to ensure optimal resource allocation that meets the recruitment needs of the assigned function or supports strategic growth/M&A initiatives.
  • Provide strategic HR insights to the assigned Talent Acquisition Partner to inform a targeted recruitment strategy, participate in final round interviews for key positions, and contribute to decision-making and offer construction as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Offer input to the total compensation strategy for global functions as determined by the CoE Compensation & Benefits.
  • Assist in the annual merit process and contribute to the calibration of salary adjustments or modifications to the compensation strategy at the segment or divisional level as needed.

About You

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years at the Senior HR Business Partner level, leading HR strategies in a multinational environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and influencing abilities, with a proven track record of effectively communicating complex information to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement, enabling strategic decision-making.
  • A commitment to data integrity and ownership of HR data sources at the regional level, fostering a data-driven HR organization.
  • Inspirational leadership qualities with a history of promoting a high-performance culture and exemplifying exemplary behaviors.
  • Expertise in change management, with documented success in implementing and managing organizational change initiatives.
  • Resilience under pressure, maintaining clarity in uncertain situations, managing emotions effectively, and making sound decisions in challenging circumstances.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams and interface with the business.
  • A strong capacity to build and sustain robust business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to align HR initiatives with overarching business objectives.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to thrive in a diverse, multinational environment.
  • A solution-oriented mindset with the capability to professionally and effectively address and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in an additional company language is advantageous.
