About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of contacts and clients in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a portfolio of contacts and clients composed of high-level decision-makers (DSI, CTO, Director of IT, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of freelance experts in the IT sector
  • Prospect and approach high-level decision-makers within major companies to identify potential needs and projects for digital transformation
  • Analyze the needs and challenges of your interlocutors to provide personalized advice on the suitability of their freelance needs with the current market
  • Propose customized action plans to meet the expectations of your clients
  • Identify and meet with candidates available for freelance missions on a daily basis
  • Accompany clients and freelancers from the initial contact to the signing of the collaboration contract
  • Collaborate with back and middle office teams for administrative, contractual, and financial aspects

Requirements:

  • Hold a higher education degree in a commercial field (Bac +5 minimum) from a top 30 business school or engineering school
  • Have at least 2 years of commercial experience in an ESN or IT consulting firm or freelance service provider
  • Strong relational skills, resilience, and perseverance
